This project was exciting, as it brought us to the Gaillardia neighborhood in northwest Oklahoma City, which boasts a landscape of lush, hilly acres, with private lakes, streams, parks and trails all within in its own private enclave. The landscape serves as an extension of the homes, most of which have architectural styles that are classic, with some featuring French Country and Normandy styles, Colonial or Georgian influences, and Tudor and English Cottage styles with soft lines, stonework and curved arches exuding warmth and comfort. All of them are stately and lovely.
The challenge was creating a cozy and warm space in a large home. The clients wanted everything to be crisp, with lots of pattern play, texture and, of course, a personality that reflected their own. All new furnishings, decor, textiles, and lighting helped to create a brand new feeling within the home.
