Design area:
Spare bedrooms: With new bed frames, pillows, covers, and artwork, these rooms seamlessly flow not only with each other, but with the rest of the home.
Clean lines, fresh art, sleek colors.
We wanted to tie in the natural elements of the lake just outside the large kitchen windows, so an earthy blue tone was our top choice to bring nature indoors. The expansive marble island perfectly complements the blue barstools and pendants, and adds an element of luxury to this glamorous kitchen.
The kitchen is the heart of the home, which is why we knew we needed it to stand out above the rest. We designed the cabinets to extend all the way to the ceilings to draw the eye up and make the space feel larger. The colors were chosen specifically to allow the rest of the decor to shine and really draw your eye to the details rather than the room at large.
Because of inevitable building delays, the client had to reschedule the move in date several times. This can be frustrating and stressful for a homeowner, and we were honored for the opportunity to work alongside them in the process and make each step a little easier. Along with coordinating with contractors and vendors, we were able to create a furniture design plan ahead of time, so that when the home was ready, we could furnish and decorate the home quickly, so our lovely clients could move in with no more delays!
The master suite was nothing short of a vision come to life! With natural tones but bold patterns, we were able to add an element of fun into this room. Steering away from the blue we used in the common areas, we played with organic browns and soft grays, while still incorporating similar marble textures and colors we used in the kitchen.
The stone fireplace, the beautiful floors, the furniture textures, even the paint color selections – everything about this newly built and designed home screams “lake house oasis”. Being able to step outside and enjoy the spectacular lake views while also being able to tie those elements into the home itself is something we love to accomplish at Nuance.
Throughout the project, We made sure to communicate clearly and often, keeping Jami in the loop about every decision and update. When it became clear that the move-in date would be rescheduled, our team remained flexible and responsive to ensure that everything was done to the highest standard. And when it came time to choose furniture and decor, it was our pleasure to create a design that was stylish, timeless, functional, and most importantly – perfect for our client.
“My experience with Amber was AMAZING! She makes quick decisions, efficient with her work and is great to work with schedules! My home was supposed to be done by Christmas but we didn’t get in until March. Amber rescheduled my move in date about 5 times. I was overwhelmed with furnishing a home! I didn’t have to make any decisions or worry about my orders coming in on time. To sum up my house “complete” is the word I would use.
